The Clarendon Hills Auxiliary Chapter
of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago (CHIW)

The Clarendon Hills Auxiliary Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society (CHIW) is one of 13 Auxiliary Chapters that support the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago (IWS). The Society's mission is to provide support and fundraising to the Angel Harvey Infant Welfare Society of Chicago Community Health Center. The clinic is located at 3600 W. Fullerton Street, in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, and provides a variety of medical, dental and mental health services to under and uninsured women, infants, children, and teenagers. 

CHIW was established in 1948 by Kay Rose. The chapter has approximately 40 active members and 45 sustaining members. CHIW has come to be known for a variety of events throughout the year including the sales of Luminaria and the annual Benefit and Auction.
