Junior Board

The Clarendon Hills Infant Welfare Junior Board offers students in 8th grade through high school the opportunity to give back to their community while developing leadership, teamwork, and service skills. Members attend monthly Junior Board meetings and participate in a variety of volunteer and fundraising activities throughout the year that support the mission of the Clarendon Hills Infant Welfare Society and its clinic.

Volunteer opportunities include assisting with the Witches Ride, wrapping luminaria, bell ringing during the holiday season, participating in the Clarendon Hills Holiday Walk, and supporting the Adult Chapter’s annual Gala. Junior Board members also help organize and execute the Egg-stravaganza, the group’s largest annual fundraiser. In addition, members have the opportunity to visit the Infant Welfare Society clinic in Chicago to gain a deeper understanding of the organization’s impact on the families it serves.

The Junior Board provides students with meaningful opportunities to serve their community, build lasting friendships, and take on leadership roles that foster personal growth and responsibility. Whether participating in events or serving in an executive position, members play an important role in supporting the Infant Welfare Society’s mission of providing accessible healthcare to children and families in need.
